Doctor Wu
Formed in 2000 by Grant Saidiner and later joined by Anthony Egan and Guillermo Ayan, Doctor Wu is a 12-piece Los Angeles-based powerhouse recreating the music of Steely Dan.
They roll out Becker & Fagen's hits, eclectic gems and album feature nights on Gaucho, AJA and The Royal Scam. Every song receives meticulous care and detail, from the soulful vocals, funk-laden grooves and out-front guitar leads to the patented mu-chord structures and the crushing 4-piece Malibu Horns. Doctor Wu recreates The Dan's music like nobody else, save The Dan.
